بازداشت ۴ شهروند ایرانی به دست پلیس انگلیس
به گزارش خبرگزاری مهر به نقل از روسیا الیوم، پلیس مبارزه با تروریسم انگلیس روز شنبه به بهانه تلاش برای اجرای یک عملیات تروریستی پنج تن از جمله چهار شهروند ایرانی را بازداشت کرد.
این بازداشت‌ها در چارچوب عملیات یگان مبارزه با تروریسم پلیس انگلیس در غرب لندن، منچستر، روچدیل و استاکپورت صورت گرفت.
منابع امنیتی اعلام کردند که افراد بازداشت شده یک مرد ۲۹ ساله در سویندون، یک مرد ۴۶ ساله در غرب لندن، یک مرد ۲۹ ساله در استاکپورت، یک مرد ۴۰ ساله در روچدیل و یک مرد دیگر در منچستر بوده‌اند.
هنوز جزئیات بیشتری در خصوص این بازداشت‌ها منتشر نشده است.

UK police says arrested 4 Iranians for terror allegations
Britain”s counter-terrorism police arrested five men, including four Iranian nationals, on suspicion of terrorism offences over a plot to target a specific premises, the Metropolitan Police claimed in a statement on Sunday, Reuters reported.
The arrests occurred on Saturday in Swindon, west London, Stockport, Rochdale and Manchester.
The police did not disclose details of the plot, citing operational reasons.
The Embassy of Iran in London did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“The investigation is still in its early stages and we are exploring various lines of enquiry to establish any potential motivation as well as to identify whether there may be any further risk to the public linked to this matter,” said Commander Dominic Murphy, head of the Met”s Counter Terrorism Command.
