KİŞİYE ÖZEL KULAKLIK Yüzme sırasında bazı önlemler alınması gerektiğine dikkat çeken Atalay, “Yüzerken suyun kulağa girmesini engellemek için kulakları tam kapayacak şekilde bone kullanılmalı. Kulak tıkacı da takılmalı. En etkili ve güvenilir kulak tıkaçları işitme merkezlerinde odyolog gözetiminde kişiye özel olarak üretilen kulak tıkaçlarıdır. Bu tıkaçlar kulağınızın anatomik yapısına tam uyum sağlar ve yüksek düzeyde su geçirmezlik sunar. Özellikle sık enfeksiyon geçiren bireyler için yüzerken ve duş alırken kulak tıkacı kullanmayı mutlaka öneriyoruz. Havuzdan sonra kulakların temiz ve kuru tutulması önemlidir” dedi. Kulak enfeksiyonu belirtilerine değinen uzman odyolog Leyla Topkan ise “Öncelikle kulak ağrısı, kulak yolunda şişkinlik ve kulakta dolgunluk hissi olabilir. Mantar enfeksiyonlarında ayrıca kulakta akıntı ve kaşıntı da sık görülür. Tedavisi, KBB hekimi tarafından yapılmalı, gerekiyorsa kulak bakımı ve ilaç tedavisi uygulanmalıdır” ifadelerini kullandı. Uzun süre kulaklık kullanımının da kulak sağlığı üzerinde olumsuz etkilere yol açabileceğini söyleyen Topkan, “İşitme kaybı ve kulak çınlaması önemli bir risktir. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO), 85 dB sese uzun süre maruz kalan bireylerin işitme sağlığı açısından risk oluşturduğunu belirtmektedir” şeklinde konuştu. Topkan, “Uzun süre hijyensiz kulaklık kullanmak, özellikle kulak içi modellerde enfeksiyon riskini artırır. Kulak içi kulaklıklar dış kulak yolunu kapatarak yeterli havalanmasını engeller. Havasız ortam, bakteri ve mantar üremesine zemin hazırlar” dedi. Milliyet”ten Betül Yasemin Keskin”in haberine gçre Avustralyalı ve Çinli araştırmacılar, güneş enerjisini kullanarak havadan su çekip bir bardağa boşaltabilen, kurak iklimlerde bile etkileyici bir performans gösteren akıllı, süngerimsi bir buluş yaptıklarını duyurdu. Balsa ağacından yapılan sünger benzeri bir malzemeden doğan bu buluş bilim insanları tarafından daha önce tasarlanmış sis hasadı ve radyatif soğutma gibi teknolojilerini solda sıfır bıraktı.
