Iran launches another wave of airstrikes on Israel
The unprovoked Israeli aggression on Iran”s soil left Tehran with no choice but to defend the Iranian nation and the country”s security by hitting back at the criminal Zionists. As part of its retaliation, Iran fired a new barrage of missiles toward the occupied territories on Monday morning.
According to the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, an increasing trend and impact-oriented missile operations against Israel”s military targets and military industry are on the agenda.

US officially enters war, Iran vows: “You will pay”
U.S. President Donald Trump did on Sunday what the entire world, most importantly his American voters – had been warning him not to do: He flew U.S. B-2 bombers inside Iran to directly join Israel”s war against the country, launching strikes on Iran”s nuclear facilities in three locations.
The President then took to his social media platform to announce the attacks were a “spectacular military success” and that Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities had been “completely and totally obliterated.”
Understanding that Trump is wrong about his attacks” effectiveness isn”t difficult. Two sites he struck, Esfahan and Natanz, had been previously attacked by Israel last Friday, and the facilities had been emptied of enriched uranium and critical enrichment technology. His attacks on Fordow were new, but the results weren”t. Satellite images show only one entrance and one exit, out of the existing five, was damaged. The main site itself – buried dozens of meters underground and protected by a mountain – remains intact.
Residents filming Fordow from a distance also failed to detect any smoke or fire. Reports from Qom, the closest city to the nuclear facility, observed normal city functioning with people heading to everyday errands unaffected. They seemed to have come to terms with their country fighting a war 10 days after Israel initiated it on June 13.
Iran and the U.S. were participating in indirect nuclear negotiations before the war broke out. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking at an OIC meeting in Ankara, stated clearly that what the U.S. obliterated with its Sunday strikes – and earlier ones it helped Israel carry out – wasn”t Iran”s nuclear facilities, “but rather diplomacy.” During the ongoing aerial campaign against Iran, at least 400 civilians have been killed and 2,000 injured according to the latest Health Ministry figures.
The current situation flies in the face of repeated U.S. claims that while informed about Israel’s initial attacks, Americans themselves were not involved. In his first remarks after the Sunday aggression, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated during a cabinet meeting that while Tehran knew the U.S. was aiding Israel”s war against Iran, the direct American strikes proved Washington was the actual instigator all along. “They tried to conceal their involvement initially, but after seeing Israel was getting crushed, they had no choice but to enter the war directly.”
Experts believe Israel”s initial strikes – targeting top Iranian military leaders in residential buildings – weren”t designed for prolonged war. The regime and its American backers asssumed assassinating generals would prevent retaliation and rally Iranians to topple their government. Neither objective succeeded. Instead, Iran unified more strongly, and its Armed Forces began retaliation the same day its top generals were assassinated, pummeling Israel and wreaking havoc in occupied territories under new, less cautious military leadership. Under these circumstances, analysts tell the Tehran Times, the U.S. was forced to intervene to manufacture an Israeli “victory.”
What happens now?
Hours after the attack, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth broke his silence, stating the Trump administration is not seeking to expand the war and has sent private messages to Tehran requesting a “return to negotiations.”
However, Iranians had previously warned that direct American attacks would be met with retaliation. Earlier in the week, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stated in a video message that any U.S. strikes would bring about “irreparable harm” for the Americans.
It”s now clear that Iran will continue targeting Israel, which has been plunged into economic and societal chaos and is facing daily Iranian missile and drone attacks, with limited interception success.
As for the U.S., Iran has several options. These include attacks on one or more of the 19 American bases in the region, housing approximately 50,000 troops or workers, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, through which a quarter of the world”s oil passes, and a change in its nuclear doctrine. Since Iranians have indicated they will adhere to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), at least for the time being, a direct military response remains the most probable next step.
According to Fars News, Iran estimates that the war could last up to six months and has prepared to sustain it.
All of this has, meanwhile, pushed the region to the brink of a regional conflagration, a situation narrowly avoided numerous times in the past 20 months due to unchecked Israeli aggression in Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria.
Regional countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, the UAE, and Turkey, said they are concerned about the “lasting consequences” of U.S. strikes on Iran in separate statements they published on Sunday.

Pakistan says Iran has right to defend itself
Iran requested the U.N. Security Council meeting, calling on the 15-member body “to address this blatant and unlawful act of aggression” by the United States on Iran nuclear sites.
“We are witnessing the escalation of Israeli aggression against Iran. Many countries are warning about the violation of the UN Charter. Pakistan has taken a principled position on this issue from the beginning, which is based on international law,” Islamabad”s envoy to the UN said.
“We strongly condemn Israel”s aggression against Iran and declare our full support for Iran; we also recognize the legitimate right of this country to defend itself in accordance with the United Nations Charter. We condemn once again Israel”s unilateral attacks on Iran”s nuclear facilities and call for an end to these aggressions.”
“Pakistan calls for a return to the path of diplomacy to resolve differences over Iran”s nuclear program. We are deeply concerned by the recent tensions. Pakistan condemns the US attack on Iran”s nuclear facilities. The attack on nuclear facilities under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency is a violation of international law.”
“We strongly warn against the escalation of tensions in the wake of Israeli aggression. This could have devastating consequences for the region and the world. Pakistan stands with the people and government of Iran and expresses its solidarity with the friendly country in these challenging times.”

Israeli strike on Iran”s nuclear sites “dangerous precedent”
In a statement to the UN Security Council, he said that Israel should declare an immediate ceasefire before the situation worsens further.
The Chinese envoy stated that the way Israel attacked Iran’s nuclear sites could lead to serious consequences.
He emphasized that nuclear issues must be resolved through dialogue and negotiation, Views Bangladesh reported.
The remarks by China”s envoy came two days before the U.S. attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran, a highly dangerous move that may push the region toward an unimaginable crisis.
Saudi Arabia has also criticized the attack. The country’s Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission called it a violation of international law. This statement came after Israeli attacks on several Iranian nuclear facilities.
Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Israel”s attacks damaged the main buildings under construction at Iran’s Khondab Heavy Water Research Reactor. However, since there were no nuclear materials at the site, there is believed to be no risk of radiation.

Mass Mobilizations in Iran Condemn Israeli , US Strikes
In a powerful display of public defiance, residents of Iran’s cities of Yazd and Ardabil staged large-scale demonstrations following a deadly Israeli attack that killed nine civilians, denouncing both Israel and the United States for their ongoing aggression against Iran.
Following a brutal assault by the Israeli regime on the city of Yazd that claimed the lives of nine Iranian citizens, residents took to the streets in a wave of motorbike and vehicle convoys.
In the sweltering evening heat, dozens of young men began their procession from Farhang Square, proudly waving Iranian flags.
This was not merely a symbolic ride; it was a fiery declaration of loyalty, anger, and unity with the nation’s armed forces.
Initially, 15 bikers led the way, soon joined by hundreds more.
The streets of Yazd turned into a sea of flags fluttering in the evening wind, a powerful metaphor for the presence of the fallen martyrs.
The convoy culminated in collective prayers at a local shrine, where participants renewed their vow for resistance and demanded retaliation for the blood spilled.
Organizers vowed to continue these marches, with the next day bringing another round of mobilization.
Simultaneously, in the northwestern city of Ardabil, masses gathered in protest against US and Israeli provocations.
Chants of “Death to America”, “Death to Israel,” and “Hayhat Minna al-Dhilla” echoed through the streets as people declared solidarity with the Islamic Republic’s armed forces.
The Ardabil rally ended with powerful religious chants and a declaration of unshakable support for Iran’s military and defenders of the homeland.

Iran goals don’t include war or regime change: US officials
Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Fox News: “We are not declaring war on Iran. We’re not looking for war in Iran, but if they attack us, then I think we have capabilities they haven’t even seen yet.”
He added: “I don’t like the regime, but we’re not into the regime change business here. We’re into the safety and security the United States business.”
Later, Rubio told CBS’s Face the Nation: “There are no planned military operations right now against Iran – unless they mess around.”
Earlier Sunday, Vice President JD Vance said the U.S. would pursue diplomacy.
“We do not want to protract this or build this out any more than it’s already been built out,” he added.
And Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stressed in a Sunday morning briefing that the meeting was not “open-ended.”

US opened hands of Iran armed forces to do any action
“The US , continuing its all-out support for the barbaric and aggressive Zionist regime, openly and directly entered the war by violating the sovereignty of Islamic Iran and violating the sacred soil of our country,” Major General Sayyid Abdolrahim Mousavi, the newly-elected Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces wrote in a statement on Monday.
Criminal America should know that Iran punish its Israeli regime, General Mousavi, adding that we will never back down in this regard.
By attacking Iran, the US opened the hands of Iran armed forces to do any actions, he said.
The United States military had of course already been heavily involved in the Israeli war on Iran that started on June 13, in everything from helping with targeting to the constant restocking of the Israeli regime’s arsenal.
But, by violating Iranian airspace and carrying out strikes against the three Iranian nuclear facilities, the United States has now turned into a direct party to the aggression. The implications for America cannot be overstated. Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei had as recently as June 18 warned the United States that joining the Israeli war on Iran would bring America “irreparable harm.”
The Israeli regime had assumed that by waging on Iran a military campaign that was really deficient but that had the looks of an all-out campaign, the United States would face a fait accompli and would be dragged in inevitably. If it was, America would then do for Israel what Israel could never do on its own: topple the Iranian government.

IAEA head gives update on Iranian nuclear sites after US attack
“Craters are visible at the Fordow site — Iran’s main location for enriching uranium at 60%, indicating the use by the United States of America of ground-penetrating munitions. This is consistent with statements from the United States,” Grossi said, adding at this time, no one, including the IAEA, is in a position “to assess the underground damage at Fordow.”
“Additional buildings were hit overnight, with the US confirming their use of cruise missiles. Affected buildings include some related to uranium conversion process,” Grossi said.
“Entrances to tunnels used for the storage of enriched material appear to have been hit,” he added.
Grossi stated that “the fuel enrichment plant has been hit again with the US confirming that it used ground-penetrating munitions”.
Iran has informed the IAEA that there has been no increase in off-site radiation levels at the three sites, he said. Grossi added he has convened a special session on the board of governors of the IAEA on Monday in Vienna.

Iran won’t halt nuclear program, uranium enrichment:Deputy FM
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi condemned the US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities as a flagrant act of aggression and a crime, stressing that the country’s peaceful nuclear program will not be brought to a halt. In an interview with Germany’s ARD broadcaster on Sunday, Takht Ravanchi refuted the idea of a halt to Iran’s nuclear activities, including uranium enrichment.
Dismissing calls for a complete halt to Iran’s nuclear program, he said, “We are sincere members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).”
Iran has pursued uranium enrichment for the peaceful use of nuclear energy on this basis, he told the ‘Bericht aus Berlin’ program.
“No one can tell us what we should and should not do as long as we remain within the framework of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty,” Takht Ravanchi emphasized.
The deputy foreign minister did not comment on the damage to nuclear facilities as a result of the US military strike.
While the Zionist regime waged a war of aggression against Iran on June 13 and has been striking Iran’s military and nuclear sites, the US stepped in and conducted military attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran’s Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan early Sunday.
The Iranian officials said Tehran reserves the right to resort to its own options for reaction to the US attacks.

E3 countries call on Iran to “engage in negotiations”
“We call upon Iran to engage in negotiations leading to an agreement that addresses all concerns associated with its nuclear program. We stand ready to contribute to that goal in coordination with all parties,” the countries said in a joint statement released Sunday.
They also reiterated their stance against Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon, saying it was their continued aim to “prevent Iran” from doing so.
“We urge Iran not to take any further action that could destabilize the region,” the statement added.
The US strike on Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan has escalated concerns that there could be regional consequences in this conflict.
The E3 countries stated they are committed “to peace and stability” in the region and expressed their support for Israel’s security.
“We will continue our joint diplomatic efforts to defuse tensions and ensure the conflict does not intensify and spread further,” the statement read.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi has declared that the United States had decided to “blow up” diplomacy, after Washington strikes on Tehran’s nuclear sites.
Iran’s foreign minister issued a new statement on social media, commenting on European officials urging Iran to “return” to negotiations following the US aerial attacks on the country’s nuclear facilities.
“Last week, we were in negotiations with the US when Israel decided to blow up that diplomacy. This week, we held talks with the E3/EU when the US decided to blow up that diplomacy,” Araqchi wrote on X
“What conclusion would you draw? To Britain and the EU High Rep, it is Iran which must ‘return’ to the table,” he said.
“But how can Iran return to something it never left, let alone blew up?” the ranking diplomat added.

Tehran reserves ‘complete and lawful right’ to respond to US attack: Iran’s envoy
In a fiery speech, Amir Saeid Iravani said today marks yet another “shameful chapter in the political history of the United States,” referring to the early Sunday attacks on three peaceful Iranian nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow.
He said US President Donald Trump “personally carried out the most disgraceful part of this wicked scenario,” referring to Trump ordering the aggression and brazenly announcing it on his social media platforms, taking all and sundry by surprise.
Describing the Islamic Republic of Iran as an “independent and peace-seeking nation,” the envoy said the country had repeatedly warned the “warmongering US regime” against any aggressive actions prior to Sunday’s acts of aggression.
“Now, based on international law, Iran retains its complete and lawful right to respond to this blatant act of aggression,” Iravani declared, condemning the “premeditated and unprovoked” assault by Washington and linking it to the Israeli aggression against the people of Iran that started last Friday and has claimed more than 400 innocent lives so far.
“This attack (by the US) follows extensive military aggression by the Israeli regime,” the diplomat noted, branding the US justification as “false, absurd, and legally void.”
He slammed the US Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for their “selective behavior and double standards” on the Israeli and American attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites, calling it a “moral, political, and legal disgrace.”
The Iranian envoy also referenced the 2020 assassination of top anti-terror commander General Qassem Soleimani, calling it a “cowardly and gruesome act of terrorism carried out on the direct orders of the US president,” showing long-standing US hostility and impunity.
Iravani accused Israel of fabricating a deceptive narrative for over two decades, despite being a nuclear-armed regime operating outside international legal frameworks.
“Iran’s actions are fully consistent with Article 51 of the UN Charter, which recognizes the inherent right to self-defense,” he stated.
He urged the Security Council to act immediately under Chapter VII of the UN Charter to address the injustice and flagrant violations stemming from the U.S. and Israeli actions.
In his remarks, Russia’s representative to the United Nations also delivered a sharp condemnation of both American and Israeli aggression against Iran, calling it a blatant insult to international norms and a direct affront to the global community.
“We strongly condemn the US’s irresponsible and provocative actions against Iran,” Vasily Nebenzya asserted. “The attacks carried out by the United States and Israel constitute a complete humiliation of the international community.”
The diplomat criticized certain UN Security Council members for their silence and inaction, accusing them of lacking the courage to denounce Washington’s aggression.
“Some members of this Council do not have the courage to condemn these attacks. The United States has shown time and again that it does not value diplomacy,” he remarked.
He further pointed out the glaring double standards regarding nuclear non-proliferation.
“Israel has yet to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), while Iran remains the most heavily inspected country in the world under the oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” the Russian representative said.
In his speech, the Chinese envoy to the United States also condemned the US military attacks against Iran’s nuclear facilities as a grave breach of international law, warning that such actions undermine global peace and stability.
“The actions of the United States constitute a dangerous violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and Iran’s sovereignty,” Fu Cong stated.
He warned that the strikes have inflicted serious damage on the international nuclear non-proliferation regime.
“The US attacks have dealt a major blow to the global framework for preventing the spread of nuclear weapons,” he emphasized.
