Enemies cannot force Iranian nation into submission
“Enemies will take the illusion of subduing the Iranian nation to their graves,” said Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, former defense minister and current adviser to the IRGC commander-in-chief.
He made the remarks on Sunday during the funeral ceremony of Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, the late IRGC commander-in-chief, who was assassinated in a recent Israeli airstrike.
Vahidi told reporters, “Iran—strong, honorable, and powerful—will continue along the glorious path of the Islamic Revolution.”
He added that the assassination of Salami and other senior commanders “will not weaken the nation’s resolve, but will instead strengthen our determination to pursue the revolution’s path and defend Islamic ideals.”
While the Zionist regime waged a war of aggression against Iran on June 13 and struck Iran’s military, nuclear, and residential areas for 12 days, the US stepped in and conducted military attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran’s Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan on June 22.
The Iranian military forces conducted powerful counterattacks immediately after the aggression. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III, which inflicted heavy losses on cities across the occupied territories.
Also, in response to the US attacks, Iranian armed forces launched a wave of missiles at al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.
A ceasefire that came into force on June 24 brought the fighting to a halt.

Iran slams Trump insults as breach of Intl. norms principles
In his customary vile language, the US president on Friday launched a tirade of abuse at Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, claiming that he had prevented the Israeli regime and the American armed forces from assassinating him.
The ministry said that such rhetoric not only violates core principles of international norms—including the United Nations Charter’s emphasis on the right of nations to self-determination—but also constitutes “an affront to a venerable civilization” and wounds the sentiments of “hundreds of millions of Muslims across the region and the world.”
“Undoubtedly, insulting and bullying rhetoric against Iran and political and religious figures revered by Iranians and Muslims worldwide will only deepen global revulsion toward America’s short-sighted policies and further discredit its claims of seeking dialogue and engagement,” the statement read.
The ministry further advised US officials to abandon their offensive rhetoric and frequent shifts in their positions, and instead answer for the United States’ attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities in gross violation of international law.
On June 22, the United States officially joined Israel’s war of aggression against Iran by launching attacks on three nuclear facilities in the country in violation of the United Nations Charter and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Trump announced a ceasefire two days later, shortly after the Iranian Armed Forces carried out a missile attack against a key US airbase in Qatar in retaliation.

Kremlin warns against regime change in Iran
Western officials have been continuously and at great expense seeking regime change in Iran since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Although these efforts have always failed, the issue has been reiterated by American and Zionist officials in recent weeks.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Sunday warned that international discussions about regime change in other countries could lead the world into “hell,” reacting to recent rhetoric from Israeli officials on Iran’s government.
“No country or group of countries should discuss a change of power in other countries. If this happens, then the world will go to hell,” Peskov told Russian media.

Iran reannounces stance on weapons of mass destruction
Araghchi made the remark in a message on Sunday on the occasion of the National Day of Combat against Chemical and Biological Weapons. The occasion commemorates the 38th anniversary of the chemical attack on the northwestern Iranian city of Sardasht by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
As the principal initiator of the initiative for a region free of nuclear weapons, Iran has consistently stood at the forefront of the struggle against such weapons, he said.
He added that Iran has never ceased its pursuit of justice for the victims of chemical warfare and firmly believes that the implementation of justice is a “necessary prerequisite” for preventing the recurrence of atrocities such as the chemical bombardment of Sardasht.
The Iranian foreign minister expressed his sincere hope that through collective determination and effort, the day will come when no human being shall fall victim to weapons of mass destruction, and that peace and amity shall replace war and violence.
On June 28, 1987, the Saddam regime dropped mustard gas bombs on Sardasht, killing at least 119 Iranian civilians and injuring another 8,000, leaving some of them permanently disabled.
Western countries- including Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, France, and the United States- contributed to the Iraqi regime’s chemical weapons program at the time.
Araghchi said credible evidence and substantiated documentation confirm that certain Western countries, particularly the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, have provided Saddam’s regime with chemical substances, technologies, and the necessary equipment, enabling it to employ chemical weapons against the Iranian people.
He added that the West’s support, along with the repugnant silence of the international community, emboldened the Saddam regime to persist in its atrocities and further violate international law with impunity.
Araghchi further noted that the world has been witnessing in recent days the assassination of Iranian women and children, ordinary civilians, university professors, nuclear scientists, and senior military and civilian officials “at the hands of some of the most cunning and malevolent terrorists” of the era who are based in Tel Aviv.
“Those same Western countries have aligned themselves with the aggressor, offering de facto support for its acts of aggression and its violations of international law and the Charter of the United Nations,” the top Iranian diplomat emphasized.
He warned that the Israeli regime’s attacks on Iran’s critical infrastructure, including facilities involved in the production of industrial chemical materials, pose the risk of a grave humanitarian and environmental catastrophe.
He noted that Iran has formally called for the convening of an emergency session of the Executive Council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in order to examine and condemn such inhumane attacks.
At the end of his message, Araghchi paid tribute to the fortitude, perseverance, solidarity, unity, and resilience of the proud Iranian nation in confronting the recent aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States.
In the early hours of June 13, the Israeli regime launched an all-out aggression on Iranian soil by targeting various military and nuclear sites, claiming the lives of dozens of top military commanders and nuclear scientists as well as ordinary civilians.
On June 22, the United States joined the Israeli regime in the assault and bombed three Iranian nuclear sites in a grave violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
A day later, Iran launched a wave of missiles at al-Udeid air base in Qatar—the largest American military base in West Asia—in retaliation for the aggression.
As the Iranian armed forces pounded Israel and its military and industrial infrastructure, using many new-generation missiles that precisely hit the designated targets, the embattled regime was forced to unilaterally declare a truce deal on June 24.
