Madbouly says consultancy office assigned for Cairo downtown development vision
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said Wednesday a consultancy office was assigned to develop a full vision for the development of Cairo downtown area and to offer the headquarters of the state-owned facilities located within the area after they were relocated to the new administrative capital.
At a press conference, Madbouly pointed out there are several local and international investment entities that have shown great interest in participating with the state in developing downtown area.
There is a very great interest to pump investments in the North Coast, the Red Sea and downtown areas where tourism or real estate projects can be implemented, said Madbouly.
Madbouly said that the government is studying adding financial increases for beneficiaries of Takaful and Karama within the upcoming social protection package, stressing that the final vision will be presented to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for approval.
