Iran, UAE foreign ministers hold key meeting in Abu Dhabi
Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is currently visiting Abu Dhabi, held a meeting Monday night with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current status of bilateral relations in various fields and exchanged views on regional developments.
Both parties stressed the need for enhanced cooperation and coordination between Iran and the UAE to strengthen security and stability in the region.
The Iranian Foreign Minister expressed deep regret and condemnation over the ongoing genocide and massacre of Palestinian Muslims in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the Zionist regime”s acts of aggression and terrorism against Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.
He stated that countering the expansionism and ongoing lawlessness of the occupying regime requires serious attention and action from regional and Islamic countries.
The meeting also included discussions on the ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, during which Araghchi briefed his Emirati counterpart on the latest developments related to the talks.

Israeli tanks enter southern Syria (+VIDEO)
Israeli tanks have entered southern Syria, according to video footage published by Arab sources. The video shows four tanks belonging to the Israeli military entering the village of Western Samadaniyah in the Quneitra province.
This military movement coincided with the flight of Israeli reconnaissance drones over the area, raising concerns about a potential escalation of tensions along the border.
Just days earlier, Israeli forces had also entered the town of Ruwayhina in Quneitra. The night before that, Syrian media reported that a convoy of Israeli military vehicles entered the border village of Saida al-Hanout, also located in southern Quneitra.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has previously reported that since the beginning of 2025, Israel has carried out 52 attacks on Syria—44 of them airstrikes and 8 ground assaults.
The Observatory also noted that since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government until the end of 2024, Israeli warplanes had launched 500 attacks on Syrian territory, effectively destroying the country”s entire military infrastructure.

آکسیوس به‌نقل از یکی از منابع مطلع خود افزود که انتظار می‌رود قطر نیز اعلام کند که بین ۲۰۰ تا ۳۰۰ میلیارد دلار در آمریکا سرمایه‌گذاری کند یا با شرکت‌های آمریکایی قرارداد ببندد که از جمله شامل یک قرارداد بزرگ خرید هواپیماهای تجاری از بوئینگ و قراردادی دو میلیارد دلاری برای خرید پهپادهای MQ-9 ریپرمی‌شود.
قطری‌ها همچنین در حال بررسی اهدای یک هواپیمای جت ۷۴۷ به ترامپ هستند تا در دور دوم ریاست جمهوری او از آن به‌عنوان “ایرفورس وان” (هواپیمای ریاست‌جمهوری آمریکا) استفاده شود. وزارت دفاع قطر و پنتاگون در حال مذاکره درباره این موضوع هستند که اکنون تحت بررسی حقوقی نیز قرار دارد. ترامپ در شبکه اجتماعی تروث سوشال نوشت این هواپیما «هدیه‌ای خواهد بود، به‌صورت رایگان.»
او دوشنبه، ۲۲ اردیبهشت پیش از ترک کاخ سفید به سوی خاورمیانه به خبرنگاران گفت: «این یک حرکت بزرگ از سوی قطر است و من از کار آنها قدردانی می‌کنم. هرگز کسی نیستم که چنین پیشنهادی را رد کنم. یعنی می‌توانم احمق باشم و بگویم نه، ما یک هواپیمای بسیار گران‌قیمت را به‌عنوان هدیه نمی‌خواهیم؛ یا بگویم نه، نه، ندهید، من می‌خواهم یک میلیارد دلار به شما بدهم؛ یک جواب دیگر هم این است که بگویم بسیار متشکرم.»
امارات متحده عربی نیز در ماه مارس اعلام کرده بود که قصد دارد ظرف دهه آینده ۱.۴ تریلیون دلار در آمریکا سرمایه‌گذاری کند.
آکسیوس در ادامه گزارش خود نوشته است: «ترامپ خلیج فارس را بستر مناسبی برای کسب درآمد کلان، هم برای آمریکا و هم برای کسب‌وکارهایی مانند سازمان ترامپ، می‌داند.»
سازمان ترامپ تنها دو هفته پیش از این سفر، یک قرارداد جدید املاک لوکس در قطر به امضا رساند و اعلام کرد که پروژه‌هایی نیز در جده، دبی و عمان دارد.
به‌نوشته آکسیوس، بسیاری از نزدیکان ترامپ نیز در این منطقه دارای منافع و فعالیت‌های اقتصادی هستند.
اگرچه مجموع قراردادها و تعهداتی که ترامپ اعلام خواهد کرد ممکن است به یک تریلیون دلار برسد، اما مشخص نیست که این رقم واقعا سرمایه‌گذاری خواهد شد یا خیر.
یکی از محورهای اصلی سفر، تمرکز بر سرمایه‌گذاری در حوزه هوش مصنوعی و فناوری خواهد بود.
بر اساس اعلام یک مقام آمریکایی و یک منبع آگاه، سام آلتمن، مدیرعامل شرکت اوپن‌ای‌آی (OpenAI)، نیز هم‌زمان با این سفر به منطقه خلیج فارس سفر خواهد کرد.
جمعی از رهبران حوزه فناوری، از جمله «جنسن هوانگ»، مدیرعامل انویدیا، قرار است روز سه‌شنبه در مجمع سرمایه‌گذاری عربستان- آمریکا در ریاض سخنرانی کنند.
امارات و عربستان از جمله کشورهایی هستند که به‌شدت می‌کوشند تا به تراشه‌های پیشرفته هوش مصنوعی ساخت آمریکا دسترسی پیدا کنند.

Hamas frees dual US-Israeli national and soldier Edan Alexander
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed on Monday evening that it had facilitated the soldier’s transfer. An image was released showing Alexander with Hamas members and a Red Cross official.
Hamas announced it had released Alexander as a goodwill gesture towards US President Donald Trump, who is visiting Arab Persian Gulf nations this week.
Fighting briefly stopped to allow for the handover after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would permit safe passage for the release.
“Edan Alexander, American hostage thought dead, to be released by Hamas. Great news!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“The government of Israel warmly welcomes soldier Sergeant Edan Alexander who has been returned from Hamas captivity,” a statement from Netanyahu’s office read.
“The government of Israel is committed to the return of all hostages and missing persons – both the living and the fallen,” the statement added.
Families of the captives have accused Netanyahu of putting his own political survival above that of the captives still held in Gaza.
Despite the release, Israel has made no commitment to a broader ceasefire.
The Israeli prime minister has faced widespread calls to end the Gaza war to secure the captives’ release but has stated he plans to expand Israel’s offensive.
Netanyahu and his hardline government remain committed to escalating the military campaign in Gaza.
Humanitarian organisations have warned that Gaza is on the verge of mass starvation. The IPC [Integrated Food Security Phase Classification] reported that half a million Palestinians face imminent famine.

سخنان جنجالی «نتانیاهو» در یک نشست غیر علنی
به گزارش خبرگزاری مهر به نقل از روسیا الیوم، اطلاعات درز پیدا کرده از نشست کمیسیون امور خارجه پارلمان رژیم صهیونیستی حاکی از آن است که بنیامین نتانیاهو نخست وزیر این رژیم اذعان کرده تخریب خانه‌های فلسطینی‌ها در غزه به صورت عمدی توسط این رژیم صورت گرفته است.
نتانیاهو در این نشست غیر علنی اعتراف کرده که صهیونیست‌ها عمداً خانه‌های فلسطینی‌ها را هدف قرار می‌دهند تا بازگشت آنها به این مناطق غیر ممکن شود.
وی گفت: ما هر روز خانه‌های بیشتری را در غزه تخریب می‌کنیم، بنابراین فلسطینی‌ها جایی ندارند که به آن برگردند. نتیجه این کار مهاجرت فلسطینی‌ها به خارج نوار غزه است اما باید ببینیم چه کشورهایی آنها را می‌پذیرند.
این در حالی است که آوارگان فلسطینی به محض برقراری آتش بس قبلی در نوار غزه به خانه‌های ویران شده خود در این باریکه بازگشتند.

US President arrives in Saudi Arabia
The White House said Trump was making a “historic return to the Middle East”, the first official state visit of his second presidency, where he will concentrate on “strengthening ties“.
Trump’s repeat decision to visit Saudi Arabia on his first overseas trip as president is a major acknowledgement of the country’s diplomatic clout, said Al Jazeera Correspondent Hashem Ahelbarra.
He chose the kingdom as his first foreign destination back in 2017, as well.

Pezeshkian slams western hypocrisy over human rights
“Countries that claim to advocate for human rights and civilization are killing innocent people with their bombs and missiles, yet still talk about peace, human rights, and liberty,” Pezeshkian said during a speech in Tehran on Monday marking Red Crescent Week.
He added that the global community remains silent in the face of such tragedies.
“The world sees this but stays quiet. The United Nations and other so-called defenders of rights witness these crimes yet support the perpetrators,” Pezeshkian said.
“In today’s world, it is clear who helps the innocent and who bombs them,” he continued.
Asserting the need for compassion, he emphasized that Muslims should help others regardless of race, color, or beliefs.
“The Red Crescent acts on this principle, working to save lives during disasters and emergencies,” the Iranian president said.
“We must all join hands to eliminate suffering in our country and across the globe, and support those in need,” he said.
