Yemen hits Israel with hypersonic missiles, drones

Yahya Saree, Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced in a statement that Yemeni forces have targeted Israeli-occupied territories with ballistic and hypersonic missiles.

According to the statement, the Yemeni military successfully carried out a special operation involving the launch of two ballistic missiles toward enemy targets.

The first missile, identified as a hypersonic “Palestine-2,” targeted the Sdot Micha Airbase in the eastern Ashdod region. The second, a “Zolfaqar” missile, was launched at Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Yafa area.

Additionally, a strategic site in the occupied city of Ashkelon was also hit and destroyed by a drone.

Saree stressed that the Yemeni Armed Forces inflicted severe damage on enemy bases and military installations through the use of advanced missiles and drones.

As of now, Israeli sources have not released any reports regarding casualties or damage resulting from the attacks.

Iran, Kuwait discuss indirect Tehran-Washington talks

In a phone conversation with the top Kuwaiti diplomat, Araghchi discussed recent regional developments and the indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Oman.

Araghchi expressed appreciation for Kuwait’s supportive stance and outlined Iran’s perspective regarding the Muscat negotiations.

Al Yahya, referring to a statement issued by Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry welcoming the outcome of the Muscat talks, voiced hope that the negotiations would yield positive and constructive results.

Trump says expects to make decision on Iran very quickly

Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he met with advisers on Iran and expected a quick decision. He gave no further details.

“We”ll be making a decision on Iran very quickly,” he said, Reuters reported.

The talks held in Oman on Saturday were the first between Iran and a Trump administration, including the US president”s 2017-2021 first term. Officials said they took place in a “productive, calm and positive atmosphere.”

On Saturday, Trump told reporters the US-Iran talks were going “okay,” adding, “Nothing matters until you get it done, so I don’t like talking about it, but it’s going okay. The Iran situation is going pretty good, I think.”

Second round of Iran-US talks to reportedly be held in Italy

A second round of nuclear talks between the US and Iran is expected to take place in Rome on Saturday, two sources with knowledge of the issue told Axios.

It reported that the venue switch was suggested by the US side.

Iran has not commented on the reports as of yet.

اقدام بی‌سابقه الجزایر علیه فرانسه

به گزارش خبرگزاری مهر به نقل از روسیا الیوم، نشریه فیگارو گزارش داد که مقامات الجزایر تصمیم گرفته‌اند ۱۲ تن از اعضای سفارت فرانسه در این کشور را اخراج کنند.

بر اساس این گزارش، کارمندان مذکور ۴۸ ساعت فرصت دارند تا الجزایر را ترک کنند. این اقدام الجزایر یک حرکت بی سابقه از سال ۱۹۶۲ تاکنون به شمار می‌رود.

در این گزارش آمده است که این اقدام واکنشی به سخنان خصمانه وزیر کشور فرانسه علیه الجزایر به شمار می‌رود.

الجزایر روز شنبه به شدت نسبت به تصمیم پاریس مبنی بر بازداشت یکی از کارمندان کنسولگری خود اعتراض کرد. این واقعه در راستای اجرای تحقیقات در خصوص ربوده شدن امیر بوخرص فعال مخالف الجزایری صورت گرفت.
