Including a Child, Army Injures Several Palestinians In Nablus

On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers conducted massive invasions of several parts of Nablus governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, injuring many Palestinians, including a child, abducting at least five, and detaining many. Illegal Israeli colonizers also bulldozed Palestinian lands.

The soldiers invaded the town of Beita, south of Nablus, leading to protests; they fired barrages of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its medics treated a 15-year-old child, who was rushed to a hospital after being shot in the thigh.

The PRCS also treated several Palestinians who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.

In Beit Furik, east of Nablus, the soldiers assaulted and injured two young men, 22 and 24 years of age, and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Ameed Ahmad, head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, said PRCS medics rushed the two young men to a hospital and treated several Palestinians for tear gas inhalation.

Ahmad added that the soldiers assaulted, injured, and detained six Palestinians while trying to cross the Beit Furik military roadblock.

The Israeli army has significantly increased restrictions on the military roadblock, closing it for prolonged periods and partially reopening it. This has added to the suffering of more than 25,000 Palestinians living in the area, especially in Beit Furik and Beit Dajan.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Qusra town from its northern entrance and fired barrages of gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.

In Tell village, southwest of Nablus, the soldiers abducted at least five Palestinians, shot another in the leg, and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The abducted Palestinians were identified as Mahmoud Silwadi, Adam Silwadi, Qassam Saifi, Obeida Ibrahim, and Ahmad Naim Abu Ar-Rob.

In related news, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers bulldozed and uprooted Palestinian lands to pave a new segregated street in Huwwara, south of Nablus.

Jihad Aqel, head of the Huwwara Town Council, stated that the colonizers bulldozed the lands and started preparing the new road, which is six meters wide and more than 500 meters long, in the Za’tara area, west of the town.

Aqel said the road is being paved on stolen lands, only 200 meters away from the homes and lands of Palestinians from the families of Aqel, Yahia, and Abu Saud.

Also on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Far’a refugee camp in the northeastern West Bank, surrounded a home, and killed three young men.

In addition, the army shot a Palestinian woman and abducted two citizens, including a child, during the ongoing Israeli siege and aggression against the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, for 30 consecutive days.

On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least eleven Palestinians, including siblings, from their homes in Bethlehem, Nablus, and Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child and injured several Palestinians in Rafah, in the Gaza Strip’s southmost part.
