QSE Index Gains 0.19% at Start of Trading
Doha, April 29 (QNA) – The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 19.33, or 0.19%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,323 points compared to last closing, backed by four sectors.
QSE figures showed a positive performance in Banks and Financial Services by 0.37%, Telecoms by 0.33%, Insurance by 0.19%, and Industrials by 0.13%.
On the other hand, the performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services by 0.01%, Real Estate by 0.20%, and Transportation by 0.44%.
By 10:00 am, a total of 47.610 million shares were traded in 3,760 transactions, valued at QR 111.295 million. (QNA)
