Yemen attacks US aircraft carrier with missiles, drones
The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a top-tier military operation in the Red Sea as part of their support for Gaza and its Resistance and in response to the Israeli-US-UK aggression against Yemen.
A joint operation by the missile and drone forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and a number of its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea using a number of drones and missiles, Al Mayadeen reported.
The engagement lasted approximately nine hours and achieved its objectives successfully, forcing the aircraft carrier to flee to the Red Sea”s far north, leaving the designated area of operations, a statement issued by the Yemeni Military Media announced.
This marks the fifth targeting of the aircraft carrier since its deployment in the Red Sea.
Announcing the operation, Yemen’s Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree stressed that the Yemeni armed forces are fully prepared to deal with any escalation of attacks by the US or the Israeli regime.
Yemen is committed to its obligations towards the oppressed Palestinian nation and continues to fulfill its duties in this field, he stressed.
Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 after the territory’s Palestinian Resistance movements carried out a surprise retaliatory attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.
Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until unrelenting Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza, which have killed at least 27,948 people and wounded another 67,459 individuals, come to an end.
The United States and Britain in December announced a military coalition to target Yemen in support of Israel.

NATO base in Romania to be used for war against Russia
“We cannot accept this,” he said in an interview with former US Navy Seal Shawn Ryan. Georgescu posted a video of the conversation on Facebook.

“What will the implications [be] if the NATO base is going to be constructive to conduct a major offensive into Russia?” Ryan asked.
“Exactly this word – ‘offensive,’ which is a wrong way. And we cannot accept this, because this is not our business, not our war, again,” responded Georgescu.
This is not the first time that Georgescu has hypothesized a war against Russia that would be launched from Romania.

Iran stages air defense exercise in nuclear sites (+PHOTOS)
In continuation of the Iranian armed forces Eqtedar (Authority) 1403 war game, the air defense exercise of the country”s army started a few hours ago.
In this exercise, missile units, radar units, electronic warfare units, air defense systems, and manned and unmanned aircraft will carry out offensive and defensive missions.
This exercise will be held in Fordow and Khondab nuclear centers and in completely real conditions, and for security reasons, only parts of it will be broadcast.

Iran prepared for major battles, long-term confrontations
The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Major General Hossein Salami made the remarks on Saturday while addressing the IRGC Aerospace forces staff.
For years, we have been preparing for large-scale battles and even long-term confrontations with the great powers in the world and their regional proxies, he said.
Saying that the power that Iranian forces have obtained is the result of decades of round-the-clock efforts, Salami underlined, “This authority is recognized. True Promise [operations] were only a small part of the display of this power.”
Every day, the number of missiles and missile systems is increasing in all parts of the country, the IRGC chief further cited, adding that Iranian missiles are developing every day in quality, quantity, and design. “Today you can shoot hundreds of planes simultaneously in successive waves,” told the staff.
Iran has never relied on any foreign power to defend our independence, identity, credibility, and authority, he said elsewhere in his remarks.
The Islamic Republic launched some 200 missiles towards the Israeli regime”s military, and espionage and intelligence bases all over the occupied territories on October 1 as part of Operation True Promise II.
The operation came in response to the regime’s assassinations of senior leaders of the Palestinian and Lebanese Resistance and a senior IRGC commander.
In the early hours of October 26, Israel targeted two Iranian border provinces, Ilam and Khuzestan, as well as Tehran.
Iran”s integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered the aggression.
Iran has said it will respond to the recent Israeli act of aggression against the country and will not abandon its rights.

Prominent Turkish liaison officer killed in Syria
An informed source announced that one of Turkey”s most prominent liaison officers was killed in clashes around Syria”s Tishrin Dam.
Turkey-affiliated forces have been trying to take control of the Tishrin Dam and its strategic facilities in a conflict with the Syrian Kurdish forces (SDF) since 2 weeks ago, the source added.
He added that the death of the Turkish officer is a huge blow to Ankara because it is losing its special forces in the Tishrin Dam clashes.
