Delegations arrive in Beirut for Nasrallah”s funeral
According to Arab sources, official delegations from Yemen, Iraq, Tunisia, Mauritania, Turkey, and Iran have landed in Beirut over the past few hours to attend the funeral procession of martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.
Beirut is witnessing an unprecedented international gathering, as world figures, resistance leaders, and supporters honor the legacy of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his comrade.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime leader of Hezbollah, was martyred in a massive Israeli air attack on Beirut on September 27, 2024.

Iran signals stronger ties with Africa
“The Islamic Republic of #Iran, an observer to the #AfricanUnion, congratulates the successful 38th AU Summit on 15-16 February 2025 and wishes all success for the new Chair of the African Union (Angola), the new Chair of the African Union Commission (Djibouti) and his Deputy (Algeria)”, Esmaeil Baghaei wrote on X.
“The recent meeting between First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran (on 20 February 2025) and the ambassadors of the African countries in Tehran signifies Iran”s determination to strengthen ties, and expand cooperation, with African countries in various areas of mutual interest,” he stressed.

وزیر کشور وارد عراق شد
به گزارش مرکز اطلاع‌رسانی وزارت کشور، اسکندر مؤمنی وزیر کشور، به دعوت رسمی همتای عراقی خود، عبدالامیر کامل الشمری، امروز شنبه چهارم اسفندماه به منظور سفری دو روزه با استقبال سپهبد زیاد، معاون وزیر کشور عراق و محمدکاظم آل‌صادق سفیر کشورمان وارد این کشور شد.
این سفر به منظور گفت‌وگو و رایزنی درباره مناسبات و روابط دو جانبه، موضوعات منطقه‌ای، مبارزه با تروریسم، مبارزه با قاچاق سلاح و مواد مخدر، همکاری در موضوعات مربوط به مرز و رفع مشکلات مرزی و همچنین هماهنگی‌های مقدماتی مراسم اربعین انجام می‌شود.
علی‌اکبر پورجمشیدیان معاون امنیتی و انتظامی وزیر کشور و سردار سید تیمور حسینی رئیس پلیس راهور فراجا، دکتر مؤمنی را در این سفر همراهی می‌کنند.

Ghalibaf receives Palestine Islamic Jihad chief for a meeting
The secretary general of the Gaza-based resistance movement of the Islamic Jihad, Ziad Nakhalah met and held talks with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on Saturday.
Earlier last week, Ziad Al-Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, and his accompanying delegation met and held talks with Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Akbar Ahmadian in Tehran.
He also attended a meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Tehran.

Russia proposes amendment to US draft resolution on Ukraine
Russia has proposed an amendment to the US draft resolution of the UN General Assembly meeting on Ukraine, proposing to add the words on eliminating the “root causes” of the conflict, a source told TASS.
Earlier, the United States for the first time refused to be a co-sponsor of the draft anti-Russian UN General Assembly resolution on Ukraine, and proposed its own, which does not contain accusations against Russia in the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine. The text of the document also expresses sorrow over the tragic loss of life in the “Russian-Ukrainian conflict” and calls for a speedy end to the conflict.
A source in the UN Security Council told TASS that representatives of a number of EU countries at the UN will gather for an emergency meeting on Friday to discuss the US decision to submit a neutral General Assembly resolution on Ukraine.
Commenting on the information that the United States did not co-sponsor a draft anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine at the UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that this “demonstrates pragmatism as the essence of the Donald Trump administration”s policy.” According to the top Russian diplomat, Trump emphasizes in meetings with the leaders of a number of countries that his main slogan is common sense, and this applies to his position on Ukraine.

Iran, Thailand agree to strengthen bilateral ties
Mohammad-Reza Bahrami, Director General for South Asia at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Friday to discuss ways to enhance ties.
The talks, which took place on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, focused on expanding political, economic, and cultural cooperation.
The two sides emphasized the importance of increasing political consultations, strengthening bilateral cooperation, and implementing joint programs.
During the meeting, the Thai diplomat expressed gratitude for Iran’s efforts in securing the release of Thai prisoners in Gaza, highlighting her country’s political will to elevate cooperation with Iran across various sectors.
Key agreements reached during the talks included the exchange of high-level delegations, the establishment of a joint economic commission, and the continuation of expert-level consultations in science and technology.
The two sides planned to implement cultural programs and hold a joint consular meeting in the coming months.
Both sides also underscored the importance of multilateralism in addressing global challenges and agreed to work more closely in the international arena.

ترامپ: پوتین و زلنسکی باید ملاقات کنند
به گزارش خبرگزاری مهر به نقل از تاس، دونالد ترامپ، رئیس جمهور آمریکا بر این باور است که ولادیمیر پوتین و ولودیمیر زلنسکی، به ترتیب رئیس جمهور روسیه و اوکراین برای حل و فصل جنگ اوکراین، باید با یکدیگر ملاقات کنند.
ترامپ حین امضای چند فرمان اجرایی دیگر در کاخ سفید، به خبرنگاران گفت که «پوتین و زلنسکی باید یکدیگر ببینند.»
وی با اشاره به اینکه به دلایل بشردوستانه ترجیح می‌دهد که بحران اوکراین حل شود، افزود: به همین دلیل است که می‌خواهم آتش‌بس برقرار و توافق انجام شود.
ترامپ دیروز(جمعه) در گفتگو با فاکس‌نیوز گفت که به‌رغم انتقادهایش از زلنسکی، همچنان از تماس بیشتر با او استقبال می‌کند. وی متعهد شد که به تماس زلنسکی پاسخ خواهد داد.
رئیس جمهور آمریکا در عین حال یادآور شد که زلنسکی مانع دستیابی به توافق صلح در اوکراین می‌شود!
