Iran will not consider negotiation under pressure, bullying
The Iranian Foreign Minister firmly rejected any negotiation under coercion, stating, “We will not negotiate under pressure or intimidation. We do not even consider such negotiations, regardless of the subject. Negotiation is different from bullying and issuing diktats.”
Araghchi further highlighted Iran’s ongoing diplomatic engagements with European and non-European nations, noting that Iran is currently holding discussions with mutual respect with the three European countries – and separately with Russia and China – to explore ways to build greater trust and enhance transparency regarding Iran’s nuclear program, in exchange for the lifting of unlawful sanctions.
Drawing from past experiences, Araghchi warned against the US approach toward Iran, highlighting that whenever the US has engaged with Iran respectfully, it has received respect in return. But whenever it has taken a threatening stance, it has faced resistance from Iran. “Every action inevitably provokes a reaction.”

Tension and conflict will harm Iran, global peace: President Pezeshkian to Norway’s PM
In a telephone conversation on Sunday, Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere and the Iranian president discussed bilateral and multilateral issues.
Pezeshkian said Iran has never sought to produce nuclear weapons and affirmed the country’s principled policy on defusing tensions and fostering unity in the region.
“However, we will definitely counter any threat against our country’s security and interests with strength and power,” he added.
He noted that Iran has always had and will have cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency on verification of the country’s nuclear activities.
Elsewhere in the phone call, Pezeshkian pointed to good relations between Tehran and Oslo and common grounds for bilateral cooperation on regional and international fields and hailed Norway’s efforts to establish peace in the region.
Referring to the ongoing sensitive situation in the region and the world, he said Iran has always made efforts to maintain regional peace, stability and security and prevented the occurrence of any war and conflict.
“Unfortunately, the Zionist regime, as the main factor of tension and crisis in the region, is inciting war and committing crime and genocide against the oppressed people of Palestine,” Pezeshkian emphasized.
He added that the Israeli regime “is attempting to portray the peaceful nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a factor of insecurity through fabrication of lies.”
The Norwegian prime minister, for his part, said his country supports the peaceful settlement of issues in the region and is ready to play a role in this regard.
Stoere pointed to the commonalities between the two countries and expressed Oslo’s keenness to improve cordial relations with Tehran.

Iran condemns cancellation of Geneva conference on Palestine
Speaking at a press conference on Monday morning, the senior Iranian diplomat stated that Switzerland, as the custodian and initiator of international humanitarian law conventions—particularly the four Geneva Conventions of 1949—was expected to support the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure in armed conflicts.
The conference, initially scheduled for March 7, aimed to bring together signatory states to adopt a resolution reinforcing international humanitarian law in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in Gaza.
Switzerland’s decision to cancel the conference was met with deep regret and surprise, he said, adding that the issue was also raised during the recent Jeddah summit, where foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed disappointment over the cancellation.
