Prominent Hezbollah leader assassinated by unknown gunmen

A prominent Hezbollah leader in eastern Lebanon, Sheikh Mohamed Hamadi, was assassinated on Tuesday evening by unknown gunmen.
The official Lebanese National News Agency announced Hamadi”s assassination in the Western Bekaa, in front of his house in the town of Mashghara by unknown gunmen who were driving two civilian cars.
The agency added that after carrying out the assassination, the gunmen fled to an unknown location.
Sheikh Hamadi was transferred to a hospital in the area, but soon passed away.
