QSE Declines 0.08% at Start of Trading
Doha, May 27 (QNA) – The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 8.49 points, or 0.08%, at the start of Tuesday”s trading, down to the level of 10,723 points, compared to yesterday”s closing.
The index was weighed down by a decline in Industrials by 0.02%, Transportation by 0.11%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.16%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%, and Insurance by 0.29%. On the other hand, the Real Estate rose 0.24%, and Telecoms rose by 0.31%.
By 10:00 am, 33.681 million shares were traded in 2,907 transactions valued QR 61.365 million. (QNA)
